1GB SD CARD > 8000 block
Wii > 2000 Block so 1GB/4 = 256MB

If wii really have 512MB aviable for vc and wiiware > why i can't use all my sd card free space ... ? just explain me why , i just try a 2GB sd card and he have nearly 16000 free block

Maybe pal wii just have 256MB aviable for storage, and us 512 (but i don't think why european just have 256 ?)

And i know wiki page about the wii :
"Games downloaded from the Virtual Console library are stored in the Wii's built-in 512 MB flash memory." > true but they don't precise if they use all memory, and if 512 of 512MB are dedicated to the storage, where did you put the wii system, you know that little menu at start who show channel you have on you wii ?

nintendo would be crazy to just only include 256 mb for the wii, many games are as high as 50mb.*

Lol :naughty: > Wiiware max size 43MB Final Fantasy
VC Max size for N64 game 46MB> zelda oot

So where did you see game that do over than 50MB ???

And nintendo do it they put only 256MB of storage

It's my last word, if your are not capable to do a little operation like 1GB/4 = 256MB i can't do anything for you.

PS : try to install all your 500 MB of vc games, just to see if you can install it all of us, and you've got the answer at the question : how many free space my wii have
