DolTool 0.3 is a dol/elf conversion tool created by loser back in 2003 for manipulating GameCube files. This handy tool will convert a Wii .dol file into a .elf file and vice versa. I thought I would post this now seeings as Wii Homebrew is now appearing as .dol only format and my friends over at nmax brought this tool to my attention.

Does this actually work?  I haven't gotten to test it yet.  I've heard some things like control does not transfer from gamecube homebrew.

I tried this and it worked Succesfully. But when I try to run the Converted Elf (I made the boot.dol to a boot.elf) (Riivolution) on 4.3u via Indiana Pwns It reads as a valid ELF but then  it shows a 0700 confused (something like that) exception. Please help. I updated and lost Homebrew and Riivolution and want to use Riivolution. Please Help?  :yaywii:

Try using LoadMii as your homebrew launcher from the Indiana Pwns exploit. That should be able to run RiiVolution.

If you had a cios installed before, it should be fairly simple to install a HBC with a different title id to stop it getting deleted. Do a search for "HBC JODA.wad", if you can install that with wad manager (using ios250) then you will solve a tonne of problems. There is a way around this if you didn't have a cIOS installed before you upgraded but I won't go into that here. I might type up a guide for hacking a virgin 4.3 soon.
