Guitar Hero returns for a fourth crack at the whip, second time for the wii and this time basing the whole game on Aerosmith and provides alot of facts and information on the band. Don't be disheartened by this though as Activision haven't put a foot wrong in creating this game for the wii.
This game unfortunately will never be able to gain downloadable content like the 360 because of the size of the wii's harddrive among other contributing factors. However, players can still compete in online face off's and joust for the status as the top rocker across the globe.
The Guitar Hero style hasn't changed which enables players with GH experiance to pick up right where they left off while easy controls enable new players to learn as they rock. Players can also use the wii remote as a cheaper alternative to purchasing a guitar. Although it's easier to use a guitar than a wii remote, so we do recommend purchasing a guitar but don't burst your bank if it's close to it's limit. I even use my guitar from GH3 on GHA to save myself a couple of pounds.
In my opinion Guitar Hero Aerosmith is a bit short, because of the fact it just doesn't feel like there's enough tracks. A full tracklist can be found at

The easy mode to some just won't be as easy as expected. I found it very difficult to 100% songs on easy mode and as for expert mode, wow. Players will need more skill than ever to 100% tracks on expert difficulty alongside tons upon tons of practise.
The power of the vault enables players to quickly customize there players. Check out the power of $250 Guitar Hero money on Lans Umlaut. With plenty of good scores players can quickly build up true rock legends from the character selection screen as well as purchasing new characters.
Multiplayer mode is pretty much the same as it was in GH3 which is a good thing, same modes and co-op mode returns to allow tag team music on the wii. Two guitars in the same room working together to accomplish rock stardom is nothing but amazing.
Guitar Hero Aerosmith really is an excellent addition to the GH family and will be fine to play for all the family young and old.
Pros:
Improved visuals
Keeping the old interface has worked
Online play is very easy to setup and fun
Backwards compatibility (GH3 guitar works just fine)
Guitar isn't necessary, wii remote is just fine. Saves £££ but a guitar is recommended.
Cons:
Lack of songs
Where is "I don't wanna miss a thing" and "Same old song and dance" classic Aerosmith hits missed out
Easy mode isn't so easy anymore. Expert mode is impossible. Both in my opinion.
No downloadable content since this is a wii game.
I leave you with this. Lars Umlaut's dramatic change after $250 spent on him.
