I can see the point but I can also see that there are potentially at least 3 variants of every dump as mentioned at the Nintendo Scene wiki which would be annoying to say the least to find that your particular dump was the 'right' variant (for the list)

If it is a true scene release there won't be any variants. Unless it was altered with another program like Region Frii, Brick Blocker, ect. But that would be the reason behind the OfflineList, to make sure you have the scene release instead of a rip or just one that someone did and uploaded to a tracker. But if it doesn't matter to you whether or not it is a scene release or not, the list would be useful to you as well, give you a checklist, screenshots, cover. Many uses for the list.

I understand why people would want a list, I just have no use for it.  The only thing that matters to me is whether the file I have is playable on my wii. :yaywii:

Yes, sure it would be useful, if somebody can take the SFVs from the old and new releases...

One for Wii ISO's would be ok, but a little impractical, one for VC and WW games I would love.

I would really Love it. I am using de Offlinelist now for DS Games and I really Love it. With the FakeCollection plugin you don't really have to be to ROM on disk Available to offlinelist as well. But with a program like this you have always a list with the latest releases and also an inventory of what you have and what not.

I am using the list right now from Psykos for the Wii Game Collection. But this is not maintained anymore and because of the outdated. So an new revival of ds-scene for this list would be trendamous. So i really hope ds-scene wants the undertake this challange. I know for sure that when the offlinelist is a reallity that you would have a large user base who is gonna going to use it. As it is the ultimate tool to give you the true insight that you have the original release and not and altered ROM or a self created ROM.

I will keep my eyes on this poll as I really Hope this will be reality soon  :D

Well I use other lists and the abgx.net one.
Although I think wii.ds-scene can do a great job on it.
