is it true the wii has only 512mb of internal memory? if so, i have atleast 500mb of VC games and wiiware games and i am not sure if it will fit in the wii's storage, cause im thinking maybe part of that storage is taken by the other wii channels you start with. if put to much vc games than it could hold, could i brick my wii, or will the wad loader tell me?

No, your wii will not brick. However, when the Wii reboots after installing the WADs, it will ask you to clear space. Then you will have to delete channels (of your choice) to make more space.

LOL, u are wrong, unless you looked at the wrong wii specs, or your wii is different cause i see you live in a different country, cause in the US, we have 512 mb of space we could FULLY use, not just 256mb, here ill show you:
Code
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii

and here (the best part cause it states this: "Storage
Games downloaded from the Virtual Console library are stored in the Wii's built-in 512 MB flash memory." (You see, it is stored in the "512mb" of storage, nintendo would be crazy to just only include 256 mb for the wii, many games are as high as 50mb.

1GB SD CARD > 8000 block
Wii > 2000 Block so 1GB/4 = 256MB

If wii really have 512MB aviable for vc and wiiware > why i can't use all my sd card free space ... ? just explain me why , i just try a 2GB sd card and he have nearly 16000 free block

Maybe pal wii just have 256MB aviable for storage, and us 512 (but i don't think why european just have 256 ?)

And i know wiki page about the wii :
"Games downloaded from the Virtual Console library are stored in the Wii's built-in 512 MB flash memory." > true but they don't precise if they use all memory, and if 512 of 512MB are dedicated to the storage, where did you put the wii system, you know that little menu at start who show channel you have on you wii ?

nintendo would be crazy to just only include 256 mb for the wii, many games are as high as 50mb.*

Lol :naughty: > Wiiware max size 43MB Final Fantasy
VC Max size for N64 game 46MB> zelda oot

So where did you see game that do over than 50MB ???

And nintendo do it they put only 256MB of storage

It's my last word, if your are not capable to do a little operation like 1GB/4 = 256MB i can't do anything for you.

PS : try to install all your 500 MB of vc games, just to see if you can install it all of us, and you've got the answer at the question : how many free space my wii have

I try to speak in english ... maybe you prefer in french

So simple :

"and what is oot" > You don't know that, shame on you man ? ... Oo Zelda OOT > ocarina of time

Well i don't speak anymore with a man who can't do a little work to use his brain. Have fun with you 500MB of wiiware vc games, if you can install all game in once time, i agree to be ban of this forum...but i know all i said it's true cause i can do a little division like 1024/4 to find how my wii have freespace.

I can't believe they're a man on earth who don't know what is ZELDA OOT .... incredible

But it's cool you ask a question, i give you an answer, and you tell all is wrong, so why did you ask about storage if you already know all about ?

Alors en français : Va donc te faire .... par un schtroumph et apprendre à compter surtout, encore un pisseux de 12 ans qui se croit plus malin que les autres parce qu'il est américain...
