It's all fairly easy, one question at a time would be better. I'll try to answer your questions.
Q: hbc but that doesnt seem to work everytime i try it the wii crashs
A: Sounds like it is out of date or something, just install the latest version using the zelda tp hack
Q: i have beetles rockband and it wants me to update my wii and last time i updated from 3.3 to 3.4 i saw alot of people on the forums saying they regreated the update.
A: not sure what your question is here, use waninkokos updater to update to 4.1, there are many threads here asking the question about updating to 4.1 just search in downloads under bios and firmware
Q: i see people talking about backing up thier nand? and something about bootmii and to protect yourself from getting bricked and backups etc..
A: Yes, you should install bootmii and create a backup of your NAND should somthing go wrong in future, you always have something you can re-install to potentially fix the problem. You can install bootmii at the same time as updating your homebrew channel using the hackmii installer
http://bootmii.org/download/
Q: usb-loaders?
A: You can backup your games to a USB device for loading without using the disk. You can setup a valid USB drive to work with the loader using WBFS manager. You will also need the hbc already installed to launch these

Q: how to load wad's & play them?
Use wad manager which you load by using the hbc again. You can start to search these now im sure using our search engine
Q: also if you don't have a chip how do you load the game after you have loaded the hbc via the twilight exploit?
As you know the hbc is a channel that installs on your menu. You only need to use the twilight hack once and then that will install the homebrew channel then you can launch it whenever you like without the need of the twilight hack again.
Q: what settings are you supposed to set in hbc etc...???
OK you I'm not going to answer this, you need to stop ranting and try some stuff out. You already know about 3 things but have not tried them yet. Bootmii, twilight hack, homebrew channel. The order you need to use these is twilight hack to install a usable homebrew channel then you can use the homebrew channel to try and install bootmii or you can just install them both at the same time seeing as they use the same installer. Once you have done that you can start installing wad files using wad manager and other homebrew which the hbc allows you to use.
